Dugthail-Klensagrad train line
The Dugthælina-Klensagradina træin líne (Dugthail-Klensagrad train line) is a Sahren crown company and the first railway of the nation. It begins in Dugthail and winds through the hills to Klensagrad, delivering goods and passengers to and from the port facility there. It is currently the only main line in Sahrland, though many plans have been proposed in parliament to extend it or build new lines.
The project began in 2134 to link the newly conquered lands to Dugthail, as by that time Dugthail was no longer a port city. It was finished in early 2137, initially running diesel trains for only a year before it was decided to be electrified in pursuit of resource autarky. These fuel burning locomotives were only phased out in the 2150s as part of President Frakchiya's first five year plan.

History
Plans had been devised to construct a railway since the founding of the nation, but these were held back due to a lack of demand, funding, and technical ability. By the end of the War of the Egercias Phoenia recognized Sahrland as an independent nation, and the recently conquered port city of Klensthail became open to international markets.
