The KC Midzha (No.27) (Midge) was a Blokha class destroyer of the Sahren and later Klensagradite People's Liberation Front.

Design and Construction

SN Midzha was laid down a year after her sister Blokha due to funding and equipment delivery delays. Construction was fast once it began and she was launched in early 2134, making Midzha the last naval vessel produced during the War of the Egercias. Similarly to the sister ships Midzha showed significant differences in design, being around 8 metres shorter but an additional 3 knots faster while being more stable. These charactaristics made it the most capable Blokha class ever produced.

Operational history

First Sortie

Midzha was rushed out of trials for the War of the Egercias and the impending recapture of Klensthail, now known as Klensagrad. She performed convoy escort duties alongside Blokha to keep the Sahren portion of the city supplied along with several shore bombardment operations in assistance with the royal armed forces. During these she suffered minor damage by shelling which was swifty repaired.

Burr war & post war years

Midzha ran convoy escort and anti-insurgency duty during the Burr war and was consequently far from home when the Pozhar Revolts began. She was ordered to continue the mission rather than returning, thus never firing a shot during the revolt.

After the war the Sahren Navy's leadership was paralyzed due to internal instability, leading Midzha to sit in her homeport of Klensagrad until the Civil war in 2144.

Sahren Civil War

Post war

The wreck continued to sit offshore on its side for another 8 years untouched. It attracted attention of contemporary writers, most notably Rory-kæ Abzalev's 2148 semi-autobiographical novel Withering of a Cynaz

In 2156 Midzha was ordered to be removed for the construction of the Klensagrad Isles. Adaman Steel won the contract and began salvage work shortly after.

2197 refit

SN Blokha sailed into the Klensagradina Stahdulga for refits in 2197 and covered with a tarp to maintain secrecy. In 2199 the ship left the shipyard and has been active ever since.
