The Adaman group was founded by patriarch of the Otbasi Adaman Iskander Adaman in 2129 during the War of the Egercias to sell military equipment and raw materials. Post Sahren Civil War the company was reinstated as the at the time owner was Daria Adaman who sided with the Republicans.
History
The Otbasi Adaman goes back hundreds of years if oral history is to be believed. Many early companies of Sahr were followed the previous Chevspendic tribal lines, including the Adaman group. In 2129 the Otbasi Adaman was formalised as the Adaman group and sold munitions and metallurgical products to the Royal armed forces. As Adaman was also one of the Chevspendic Cynaz he was able to negotiate many royal subsidies from the grand princes and the company grew rapidly.
2139-2146
The 2139 riots and coup coincided with slow dissolution of the informal tribal system and generally marks the transition from formalised tribe to conglomerate. The company survived solely on government interference as their manufacturing capabilities were vital for the functionality of the state.
The Adaman group sided with the Republicans in the Sahren Civil War as their production facilities in the south had been untouched in a deliberate scheme to sway them and the rest of the middle and upper classes. Adaman arms sales skyrocketed as the war made a demand for such products, and Adaman steel grew significantly during the war despite their small size as new facilities were seized and converted into mills. Adaman steel also profitted from penal labour during and after the war as prisoners of war and high ranking enemy officers were sentenced to labour en masse
