Peter O'Hanraha-hankerman is an unfortunate and incompetent Kroman reporter who makes frequent appearances on Kerbin Today, acting as its economics correspondent. Despite his ineptitude, Peter is tasked with reporting on global news and politics with inexplicable frequency. He has been, or claimed to be, at the scene of almost every major news incident in the past two centuries. His apparent agelessness is omitted from official records, as experts have been unable to affirm that he is indeed a kerbal. When placed in an electroencephalography (EEG) machine, the computer erroneously recorded Peter as a mollusc based on his level of brain activity, or lack thereof.

Peter narrowly escaped death during the destruction of Windsteer when he overslept and reported from his hotel room, initially pretending to report from inside the Vocavian embassy, but eventually relenting when pressed by Mis Krorris.
He later repeated this feat during the destruction of Diosca Citadel, delivering a confusing segment in which he claimed to be in a restaurant on the 187th floor attending an economic conference several hours after the collapse of the spire.
