Confed Wakira Railroad
The Confed Wakira Railroad (reporting marks CW, CWW, CWY) is a Class I freight-hauling railroad that operates 89 locomotives over 3,220 miles (5,180 km) routes in 23 Confederate states west of Obtund. Confed Wakira is the largest railroad in the Confederacy.
Founded in 1878, the original Wakira Rail Road was part of the first transcontinental railroad project, later known as the Obtund Route. Over the next century, CW absorbed the Southern Zokesia Railroad, the Western Wakira Railroad, the Ezekialgrad-Ellagrad-Juno Railroad and the Royal Northern Railroad. In 2162, the Confed Wakira merged with the Royal Zokesian Transportation Company, transforming from a private sector railroad to a partially nationalized rail line that served the whole of the Confederacy. In 2196, the company merged with Nuvastia Transportation Company, itself a giant system. The Confed Wakira Railroad Company is the principal operating company of Confed Wakira Railroad, which are both headquartered at the Confed Wakira Center, in Ezekialgrad, Zokesia.
