The ADF-Type-42-Kelesi-Kallibri was a single seat multirole fighter from Sahr. It was intended to replace the ADF-Type-85 but developement delays prevented it's production until the Sahren Civil War, at which point it was produced by the Labour party.

Development

The strategic situation of Sahrland changed by the end of the 2130s as it was now able to field an effective air corp. Focus shifted from highly specialised air defence interceptors to multi role strike fighters, a role the type-42 needed to fill.

The new airframe was kept short and more slender than the type-85 as it now only needed to fit one full sized engine. Interference by leading aviation figures led to the inclusion of a smaller engine in the rudder assembly. Political instability of the time caused delays until the beginning of the Sahren Civil War. By 2144 the design was considered 80% finished and the labour party seized the design to finish and produce.

Sahren civil war

Labour party was able to rush the type-42 into production within the first few months of the war, and as the frontlines solidifed they began to enter service. Statistically

Vagani Campaign

By the end fall of Slovale total aerial dominance was established by the Republicans and only 19 type-42s remained. These managed to escape into the Vagani region but were unable to effectively operate due to fuel and ammunition shortages. By the end of the vagani campaign 27 kills were claimed despite this being statistically impossible.
