History

With the formation of the Confederacy in 2149, one of the first resolutions passed by the Confederate council was to create a unified airline to serve all nations. Originally planning to use the Zokesian National Airline Bundesluft Zokesia as a starting point, pushback from other nations resulted in the latter becoming a private venture and Confederate Airlines being chartered as a standalone entity.

Initially operating as inter-national flight service to and from local airports within the Confederacy, Confed Air suffered serious issues competing with smaller regional airlines within the nation. In 2175, the Confederate National Assembly intervened and mandated Confed Air switch scope to international flights, and the company purchased a large number of large wide-body jets. Within a decade, Confed Air was profiting from its long-distance routes, flying from Ezekialgrad International to limited long-distance Confederate cities such as Bayl, Schrchnell, South Foresti and Krakain, as well as Huturoa, Comberth, and Fortmil, becoming one of the staple passenger carriers for flights from the Confederacy to the UIF, Kafrica, and Doren.
