The Korych is a military organization belonging to Sahr but separate from the Sahren Republican Guard. They are a smaller and more professional force created specifically for international deployment without officially enacting wartime measures.

The Reformation of Greater Aontas was considered to be an innevitable developement by most figures in the country, and along with this the protection of Chadastok and the farther away Bastian territories presented an issue of rearmament. The formation of the Korych itself was proven to be a neccesity with the Sahren Republican Guard specified for home front matters and the republican militia disbanded and rendered illegal to reform unless total mobilization was ordered.
Parliament passed approval to allow penal conscription of prisoners of war in late 2146, and all former Strecha members in republican custody were quickly conscripted into the Korych.
