Raminus Altum Shatter-Horn (born 28th of January, 2067), is a Vocavian political figure, soon to be Chieftain of Vocavium and the son of Chieftain Calbrett Shatter-Horn. Since his childhood, he has demonstrated himself to be a resourceful and shrewd diplomat, often accompanying his father on trips of national import to advise him, as well as care for him in his old age. He has inherited his father's wisdom and great strength, though not his stubbornness, and is far more open to new ideas and solutions to problems. Like his father, he takes a personal note of being amongst his people as they work and fight, being stationed aboard the VN Sinai during Operation Resounding Strike.
During the CSD-Zokesia war a slow bomb struck Windsteer, Vocavium's capital city, where Raminus was situated at the time. He survived the blast though lost his left arm and much of his torso, now requiring a prosthetic arm and bionic implants to survive. Whilst in fact increasing his physical capabilities, most notably strength and endurance, they are uncomfortable and inhibitive, as well as being vulnerable to damage.
Early Life
Childhood
Raminus was raised in the frigid norrthern provinces of Vocavium, quickly learning to endure the biting cold and harsh winds and subsequently developing a hardy constitution. During his childhood, Raminus was taught by his father and personal tutors in the arts of war, poetry, climbing, marksmanship and most importantly, sailing. Raminus excelled in all of these activities and was soon officially enlisted within the Vocavian Navy as part of the draft that is mandatory for all nobles in Vocavium.
Ascension to Sagamore
At the age of 20, Raminus was ready to take on the role of Sagamore, acting as supreme adviser to his father and holding emergency powers should the Chieftain be unable to perform his duties. The role suited him and he was soon known throughout Vocavium for being as fair and inspiring as his father, yet more compassionate and benevolent.
Personality
Much like his father, Raminus is stoic and calm, choosing to live a minimalist lifestyle and dispensing of many unnecessary amenities and luxuries.
Personal Life
Despite his father's warnings, Raminus remains unmarried and as of yet has no heir to continue the Shatter-Horn dynasty.
