Nexus is the capital and largest city of the Ikonic Federation. It shares it's name with the state of Nexus, the principal state of Ikonia, which was named after the nascent city during the Septimation Era of Old Spearka.

Politics

Nexus represents the seat of power within the Ikonic Federation. As the foremost state, it is home to many company headquarters, as well as political figures. The Rubicon Vertex serves as the primary residence of the serving Apex, and it is located within the heart of Nexus.

Whilst the other five states muster forth the pool of talent and sagacity from which the bearers of the Greater Council are elected, it is the exclusive duty of the citizens of Nexus to elect the Apex from these bearers. It is a responsibility and a privilege that is vaunted jealously by many Nexans, and this political concession serves to distance Nexans from the citizens of other states.
