ISEA

The Imperial Stellar Exploration Agency (ISEA;' Isaiah') is an independent agency of the UIF's federal government responsible for the civil space program, aerospace research, and interstellar exploration. Established in 2181, it succeeded the Ravninny Space Agency to reform Systems Commonwealth space development with explicit civilian authority, emphasizing peaceful applications in space science. It has since directed the UIF's interplanetary and interstellar research programs, including the Phoenix shuttle, the Aeneas Program, the afterburning fusion engine, and exotic matter containment.

ISEA's science division is focused on better understanding the Kerbol system, advancing astrophysics principles, and researching next-generation energy and propulsion systems. The exploration division is tasked with manned interstellar spaceflight, with the Fort Grace Interstellar Research Vehicle the first in a line of research vessels intended to travel to Debdeb, Tuun, Qeg, and the local solar neighborhood.
