The Fasco-Dorislav Pact was a far-right political organization founded in 2086 in Dorislav. Considered fascist in nature, it later instigated a fascist uprising, which grew into the Fasco-Dorislav Rebellion, after it lost the 2087 parliamentary election.
History
Beginnings and the 2087 election
The Fasco-Dorislav Pact was founded in 2086. In 2087, the Pact ran in the election that year, losing to the Dorislavian Labor Party (51 seats) with only one seat in Parliament secured. Its loss greatly angered party members, who responded by accusing the government of rigging the elections against them in favor of the liberals. Despite objections, it was ruled that none of the parties involved had engaged in electoral fraud and that the results were legitimate.
Fasco-Dorislav Rebellion
Unwilling to accept the ruling, the Fasco-Dorislav Pact instigated a series of protests in western Dorislav, followed by acts of political violence and subsequently an uprising. It led to what is now known as the Fasco-Dorislav Rebellion, kickstarting the Dorislavian part of the Belasirov and Dorislav Civil Wars. In response, the Dorislavian government declared it a terrorist organization and banned the FDP from running in elections.
At its peak, it controlled most of the western half of Dorislav, save for a long, narrow corridor south of occupied territory still under government control. Unable to fight back against the better trained Owlian and UCF forces backing Dorislav, as well as their overwhelming air power, the FDP began to lose territory until the last pockets of resistance surrendered in June 2088, save for a few holdouts who were eventually wiped out or surrendered.
Post-civil war era
The Fasco-Dorislav Pact was later dissolved after the war.
