The Enterprise is a class of aircraft carrier designed and manufactured by Vocavium currently in service with the Owlian Navy. Only one ship of the class currently exists, the USS Allison T. Kerman.

History

Origins

The Enterprise Class Carrier was the result of Military Directive #88-01A, written in 2088. Built to extend Owlian range across the world, the Enterprise completely blew the OU away with its performance. The ship was perfect for every need the Owlian Naval Air Force had, and was a wonderful example of Vocavian inginuity. With a top speed of around 50 knots and a massive complement of aircraft, the Enterprise was ready to sail.

Entry to Service

Named for Queen Allison Tahura Kerman of the Owlian Union, CVN001 was christened the USS Allison T. Kerman in a large ceremony at the ships new home- Christopher Naval Base in Sanctuary, Owlia. The ship took her first journey across the world- traveling from Vocavium to Owlia on a single load of fuel. The voyage took over a week, but showed the carrier's abilities in all kinds of conditions. The vessel has incredible range thanks to the electric turbine engines, which give very low fuel consumption.

Service with the Owlian Navy

Zokesia

The USS Allison T. Kerman was one of the vessels participating in the blockade of Zokesia during the Zokesia-CSD War and the hunt for Francisco Grail. The carrier served alongside other vessels from Vocavium, Grestin, and HKA- launching aircraft to bomb the Kolus Road and perform crucial missions against Zokesian targets.

Grestin

The USS Allison T. Kerman was sent by the Owlian Union to assist Grestin Independence forces during the Civil War in the early 2090's. However, following the revelation of a Technocrat navy, the carrier was called back to Owlia to mitigate the risk of losing the carrier to enemy fire. Shortly after, Owlia pulled support altogether from the conflict.
