The Eeloo-class vehicle cargo ship, also known as Fast Sealift Ship (FSS) or ZL-7, is a class of Vehicle Carrier in service in the Confederate Navy. Originally built in 2172 and 2173 as high-speed container ships known as ZL-7s for Cyten-Ward, the ships' high operating costs limited their profitability. Four ships were acquired by the Confederate Navy from 2192 to 2193, with the last ship converted, delivered to and placed in service with Military Sealift Command in 2200. The conversion entailed the installation of four cranes, addition of roll on/roll off capability and a redesign of the cargo hold to better facilitate storage of vehicles. Due largely to their high cost of operation, all fast sealift ships are kept in Reduced Operating Status, but can be activated and ready to sail in 96 hours. All ships are named after planets.

Clemency-Class Hospital Ship

Two of the four Eeloo-Class Vehicle Cargo Ships were further modified to operate as floating hospitals. ZSNS Clemency and ZNS Benevolent are capable of housing up to 1000 kerbals, and have a staff of 100 trained doctors and 200 nurses in addition to their normal crew.
