Coastal Consolidated Shipping Company, doing buisiness as CCSC, is a Fortis-owned, Fortis-based Maritime Shipping Company.
History
Coastal Consolidated Shipping Company, or CCSC, was founded in 2159 from several denationalized Laythian shipping companies.
Jurkom Service Co, Antarek, and Prusmuy LLC were bought out and incorporated into Baskay Coastal in 2155. BC sought to rebrand, and renamed itself as Coastal Consolidated Shipping Company in 2159. Baskay Coastal, the then largest Fortis based maritime shipping company, sought new investors. As part of a marketing scheme, the CCSC rebrand also incorporated new stock options for employees, and introduced several new routes, including routes from Fortis to other nearby countries. CCSC ships all freight, including commercial goods, civilian hazardous goods, and military freight as contractor (MFC) cargo.
Routes
CCSC runs intercountry routes between Fedithe and Ulkam, as well as every other major Fortisian port city. Most freight on these routes are commercial goods. CCSC also offers international shipping, with all vessels registered to Ulkam as their home port.
Fedithe - Ulkam ShortRoute™
CCSC runs a popular inter-commerce line between Fedithe, F.O., and Ulkam, representing more than 80% of trade between the two cities. The route is advertised in both cities on television and on the local internet, and includes postal services at the individual level.
