Wide Island and Thin Island (Egercian Ken-Arai/Juka-Arai is a duo of islands directly north of the city of Slovale. Ken-Arai is roughly 60 metres north and south and 108 metres west to east, while Juka-Arai is 118 metres north and south and 86 metres west to east. The islands are vital for breaking up waves and sheltering the Slovalina Stahlduga.

History

Pre-Chevspendic invasion

Post war era

Etymology

Ken-Arai means wide island in Chevspendic, likely because from shore it appears wider than Juka-Arai, which correspondingly means thin island, and appears smaller from shore than Ken-Arai.

Geography and Environment

The islands are both shaped like an oval and from the shore Ken-Arai appears larger than the island just adjascent to it Juka-Arai. Ken-Arai is roughly 60 metres north and south and 108 metres west to east, while Juka-Arai is 118 metres north and south and 86 metres west to east. Both are roughly equivilent in size as Ken-Arai is taller by about ten metres than Juka-Arai.
