The Thunderchief Class is a class of supercarriers in of Vocavian origin, in service with a number of navies across the world, and is currently of the largest surface ship ever built. It serves as Vocavium's ultimate expression of military and naval prowess, commanding great strategic importance. It's unrivalled size and aircraft complement make it one of the most potent warships ever put to sea.

The Class was designed shortly after the decommissioning of the impressive but ultimately unsuccessful Thunderbird Class, which was cancelled due to spiralling costs, marking a dead end in that branch of naval architecture and design. Whilst the comparably huge Fortis Class was scheduled to replace the Thunderbird Class, the introduction of new construction methods and the public's new interest in warships after the spectacle of the Thunderbird Class lead to the decision to design an even larger supercarrier.

Whilst the class was not designed explicitly for export, it has swiftly become one of Vocavium's most sought after commodities, being sold to multiple nations within months of it's commissioning. The appearance of such a large and formidable ship in such abundance across the globe has profoundly altered the playing field of naval warfare.
