Abzalev Design Bereau was created by Yury-Ako Abzalev in 2097, nine years before the country of Sahrland was founded. The corporation was created for the purposes of developing aircraft as the Chevspendi horde transitioned into the Sahr principality in 2106.
History
In the year 2097 the company was founded as Yury-Ako Abzalev (a prominant Cynaz at the time) was informed of the migration of the Chevspendi to the Sahrlands. He began collecting assets and contacts until 2106 when the Chevspendic Horde organized into Sahrland.
The company remained small and grew very slowly from the perdiod between 2106 to 2161 when the company soared in growth due to it's flying boat designs. In the same year the Alkan Tractor Company sold off all of it's assets and dissolved due to financial troubles of the 2160s and introduction of competitors from Kulge. Engine production assets were bought by Abzalev and introduced as the Alkan motor works subsidiary. This move secured the series of Alkan turbofan engines and LFO/Electric turbines employed on most Abzalev aircraft.
Abzalev Design Bereau's favour with the Sahren civilian sector has been credited to intense "Harbourization", a phenomenon in which flying boats discourage developement of large airfields which therefor encourage developement of new flying boats. The company has struggled to push outside of the Sahren economy due to it's reliance on Harbourization.
