The United States of Larrea, also known as Larrea or Forsetti, is a country located on the Forsetti peninsula to the west of Baskay. The state of Larrea is a federal presidential constitutional republic, having four states and one special autonomous zone. The state capital is New Forsetia, located in Delras. The union has a total population of 10 million. It contains some of the largest cities of the region, with the largest being New Forsetia and Ikacci.

Geography

Republic of Alecton-Gallante

The most religious of all the states, the republic of Alecton-Gallante has a storied and troubled history, filled with wars, regime changes and devastating losses. One thing that remained constant was the people’s strong faith in the kraken. The territory holds many of the religions holy sites. In the religion, space travel holds a strong significance since the people see it as them becoming closer to the heavens. The national space center located in the north of the state is thus another one of the holy sites, even though the center itself is controlled by a mixed board of representatives from all states and the federal government.

The people are proficient in naval exploration and fishing, just like many in the peninsula, and are very passionate and proud of their often mythical history. Now the most dominant of the states in space travel due to their religious motivation, they have a strong place in the union and have massive representation in both the union senate and social events like the Forsetti Cup and the Larrean Premier League, even though they always manage to bottle it in the final.

The territory contains the tallest mountain in the union, but is overall very flat like the rest of the peninsula. Lush jungles and mangrove forests spread across the north, with the forests dissolving to farmland and plains the more south you go. Having a population of 2.5 million, the state capital is Ikacci and has a population of 700 000, being one of the largest cities in the union.

Delras

The biggest and most influential of the states, Delras has a large population of 5 million people. Delras also houses the capital city of the union, New Forsetia, which has an equally large population of 1.5 million. Delras holds most of the federal government facilities, together with the bulk of Larrea’s population and political power. The government of Delras has long been unpopular with the citizens, seeing as they are stifled by corruption and bureaucracy and have many outdated laws and customs. The kraken religion is still thought highly of here, with New Forsetia having been built with unique kraken shrines and monuments scattered throughout.

Delras’ people pride themselves with their long running fishing industry, being the largest producers of food and fishing exports in the union. The old capital of

Salred

Home of the gunning eagles, the republic of Salred is the home of the Larrean united Air Force and is home to large parts of Larrean industry. On the smaller side, Salred has a very homogenous population numbering at around 300 000. Also on the more atheist side, Salred’s population is one full of hard diligent workers, though described as “unfunny” and “boring” by the rest of the union. Proud of their technology and domestic products, they are one of the more economically wealthy states.

As mentioned before, Salred is home to a large part of the Larrean Air Force, with it containing the largest air force base. The terrain is nicely suited for it, being flat like the rest of the peninsula. Fishing is also a large industry, next to their energy and industry sectors. The capital city is Tria, having a population fo 90 000.

Politically, the people of Salred are often at odds with the oligarchy that rule the nation, resulting in widespread and regular riots. The small nation has large influence over the union senate due to their large wealth, as well as being 14 time winners of the Larrean Premier League. They have a long rivalry with Delras, as well as Alecton-Gallante given their winning streak in the league.

People's Republic of Areittia

The only socialist state of the union, they are the most independent state of the union besides South Forsetti, they had a revolution shortly after the events of KP2.5. The most atheist of all the states, the kraken religion has no large significance politically, with it only having mild social significance since a lot of the people descended from worshippers further up north. The people are, in contrast to the people further north, quite reserved and cold. Quite similar to their climate, with the nation having mild summers and brutal winters. The ruling socialist party has been in power since the revolution, becoming increasingly less popular as the years continue.

The state holds the majority of the Larrean United Army facilities. Even though the state has conscription just like the rest of the states, Areittia has the highest levels of people staying in the army after conscription. This is theorized to be due to the cultural significance of being “warriors” and serving the nation. The state has a population of 500 000, with the capital being Vemirka having a respective 100 000 people. It is home to the central union armory, and also has the most divisions stationed there.

As said before, the climate is typically quite cold with most of the landscape consisting of taiga forests and small patches of tundra to the south. Areittians are quite isolationist compared to the rest of the nation, and never quite seem to assimilate as well into the union as the rest. Still, as one of the founding members of the union, they are loyal and willing to defend Larrea by any means necessary.
