Ilan Lenin was the lead guitarist of the 1960s Arkadii band ''"Bitlz"'' who was later sent to a work camp for anti-stilholvist behaviour before dying of pneumonia in 1980

Musical Career
Lenin co-founded ''Bitlz'' in the early 1960s, helping define the sound of modern Arkadii rock music and made him one of kerbin's most recognizable musicians.
Arrest
In the late 1960s, the members of Bitlz were arrested by the ARG on charges of anti-Stilholvist behaviour for implications that the 1966 track "Crimson Submarine" contained anti-war messaging and brought attention to the sinking Arkadii economy. He was sentenced to 30 years in a work and correctional facility, bringing his musical career to an abrupt end.
Death
Lenin remained in poor health following years of imprisonment and died of pneumonia in 1980 while still under government supervision.
Legacy
Following the fall of the Stilholvist regime, Lenin was officially rehabilitated and is widely regarded as both a musical pioneer and a symbol of artistic freedom in Aenia. The settlement where Lenin spent the remainder of his days was renamed in 2080 in his honour.
