Zarkoprom is a robotics R&D block run by Chief Designer Zarko Veselko, specializing in the production of industrial equipment and military hardware. Founded in 2174 during the early stages of the Object 62 project at OKB No. 14, Zarkoprom originated from a need for a fire-control system for the LT-15 series of armored combat vehicles. Zarko Veselko developed an innovative fire control system that maintained range acquisition under extreme conditions and, as a result, was promoted to lead a newly formed department. This department was subsequently spun off to create Zarkoprom, a dedicated electronics design bureau. Today, Zarkoprom is the primary manufacturer of robotic manufacturing arms used in mass production factories across Desovo.

Zarkoprom Overland Battalions

The Overland Battalions subdivision of Zarkoprom is dedicated specifically to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Established in 2194 after the successful production of the SRC-100 series reconnaissance drones, this unit enabled forward artillery observation without risking personnel on the ground. The SRC-100 program has continued to evolve, now in its third generation, with the latest model designated as the SRC-102S.

In 2199, viability studies were conducted on heavy dual-motor drones to replace the aging Zil-4 utility helicopter for infantry and close ground support roles. Prototyping continued in 2201, when the SCV-112 entered production as a hunter-killer platform. In 2208, after further research and studies on cost reduction, the design was modified to feature a primarily wooden frame, reducing the overall cost per unit by nearly half. Subsequent vehicles remained visually identical to the first-generation SCV-112 units but were classified as SCV-122 going forward.
