Alnov is a Novenadian mining company and the largest manufacturer of natural resources in Veiid. After being founded as Aluminum Group of Novenad in 2162 and operating independently for several decades, Alnov expanded significantly during the 2170s to become one of the foremost producer of aluminum, steel, copper, and precious metals. The company along with its holdings were purchased by the National Strategic Enterprise Fund (NSEF) in 2182 after filing for bankruptcy. Currently, Alnov operated several subsidiaries and other holdings around Veiid.
History
Alnov was created by a group of investors on April 12th, 2162. The group purchased a significant fraction of the resource rights to Mt. Vema from the Novenadian government, which was at the time investing heavily in restarting the mining industry. As they were not eligible for subsidy by NSEF as a foreign-owned company, Alnov competed with other mining companies and won a large contract for the excavation of the Kivina Mountain Complex, funded by the Novenadian Armed Forces.
