Design

The Swordsman-Class Missile Battleship is similar in design to the Hartfordia II-Class Heavy Cruiser, with the bow fitting the Mark IV Magnetic Accelerator Cannon as the primary kinetic weapon as a backup to the ships primary weapons, its missiles.

Development

Originally based off of the Hartfordia II-Class Heavy Cruiser, both the Swordsman and Hartfordia II were designed around the same time by Odyssey Aerospace.

Both started under the same design study project, looking to arm the Atreus Aerospace Command with a Battlecruiser-Sized capital ship to accompany the Trinity and Retribution-Class Carriers while being able to engage hostile Second and Third Echelon assets, such as the Sirius-Class and
