Zokesian National Museum of Aviation
The Zokesian National Museum of Aviation, formerly known as the Zokesian Aviation Museum, is a military and aerospace museum located at Naval Air Station Sencapola, Schrschnell.
Founded in 2062 and moved to its current location in 2074, the museum has now been reopened to the public starting May 2193, after a temporary close in 2189.
Overview
The museum is devoted to the history of aviation, including that of the Zokesian Royal Air Force, the Zokesian Royal Navy, and the Confederate Coast Guard. Its mission is "to select, collect, preserve and display" appropriate memorabilia representative of the development, growth and historic heritage of Zokesian Aviation. More than 150 aircraft and spacecraft are on display, including four former Blue Lions Z-80s, the Ward ZW-4 (the first aircraft to cross the Central Sea), Confederate Coast Guard helicopters, biplanes, a K-69 Airship control gondola and tail fin, an aircraft that President Mitchell Shelby O'Till trained in, and the S-3 Viking used to transport President John Kallan Kurrman to the ZNS Emperor Zeroth (CVN-21) in 2149 (see Lion One). These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed inside the museum's 300,000 square feet (30,000 m2) of exhibit space and outside on its 37-acre (150,000 m2) grounds.
The museum has a Giant Screen Theater, flight simulators, Blue Lions 4D Experience, museum store, and cafe. The North Point Café displays squadron memorabilia from the closed NAS North Point Officers' Club.
