Seifare
Seifare, officially The Principality of Seifare, is an affluent sovereign Microstate situated on the Feguanesian coast, within Ranga Bay and on the border of Fegeland and Algiza. It is home to 44,382 citizens, of which less than half are Seifégasque nationals. The Capital and only settlement is Lotte Kyu,a city recognised as one of the wealthiest places in the world. With an area of just 350.6km^2, it is the smallest independent state on Kerbin.
Government
Seifare is governed by a constitutional monarchy, with the Sovereign Prince of Seifare as it’s head of state.
The executive branch is led by the Minister of State a Seifégasque, Feguan or Algizan national who is personally appointed by the Prince for a three year term. A Minister can serve up to three terms, however in exceptional circumstances should the Prince of Seifare and Mayor of Lotte Kyu deem the serving Minister unfit they may be removed from their position prematurely.
Economy and Infrastructure
Economy
Historically, the Seifare's main sources of income have been tourism, gambling, and banking. With almost the entire nation being an urban area and land prohibitively expensive, it’s agricultural output is effectively nonexistent, leaving the limited fishing of Ranga Bay as the only considerable export. However, many services throughout the nation are state held monopolies.
In 2146, the Principality began expanding the nation's business holdings at an unprecedented rate, entering the international market for the first time.[1] This aggressive growth was marked by the takeover of businesses such as SeifAir, in a bid to dominate the civil aviation industry across Feguanesia, and the purchase of Wurati from the Sahr Republic Party, which signified an enormous effort to break into the global oil scene in a multinational partnership with the Laveskan Government. These intiatives represented a significant change in the country’s economic policy, and an immense investment from the International Bank of Seifare, but whether this attempt to expand into foreign sectors will prove successful remains to be seen.
