The Twin colonies of Avarua-Polengairdt is the Sahren and formerly Phoenian colonial administration on the Joolian moons of Bop and Pol.

The two colonies were initially referred to as the Protectorate of Bop and Pol as the Phoenian government desired to settle the entirety of both of the moons. Opposition from other members of Joolian federation and ever inflating costs led to these claims being reduced to just the largest settlements on each moon.

Polengairdt is the premier settlement on Pol and whose name translates literally as "Pol's Garden". This name was selected in a lottery during the interplanetary transit of the first colonial fleet.

Tekkian and Graner were the languages spoken by the initial colonisation waves, but the distance from Kerbin resulted in a new dialect forming over time. In 2180 Avaruan became recognised as it's own distinct dialect of Aontan.
