The Kashima Clan, known as the Kashima Family or the Kashima, is an ex-Zalkentian Crime Syndicate that previously operated out of the city Lesk and its surrounding provinces. Originally rising to promincence during the civil war and economic downturn that plagued Zalkent in the 2150s and 2160s due to the lucrative arms trade and drug trafficking industry that was built off the back of the wartime conditions. This allowed the Chairman, Kazuma Kashima, to sieze power from the rival clans within the nation and consolidate large swathes of power and income.
