Background
Alone In Kafrica
Blytheria was the sole statist or unaligned nation in Kafrica as of the end of the Great Kerbin War. This left the small Kingdom highly isolated from the rest of the world.
Strelkan Ambitions
Strelka, forging a new alliance in KSAT, sought to expand their sphere of influence and saw the isolated Blytheria as a prime target for forced alignment or annexation.
Federal Directives
Consolidated Tekkia viewed this expansion as a step towards a repeat of the Great Kerbin War.
The March of Money
Mag Mell was funded by the Strelkan government to enact their desire while avoiding direct confrontation.
Course of the Conflict
In early 2084, Strelka, in private [ooc] talks outlined the intent to directly invade should indirect intervention fail, going so far as to support full NEOCON involvement in pursuit of their goal.
In June of 2084 Mag Mell launched their first incursion into Blytheria. Coming from Dinsmark in Strelka, the initially small ground and air force was met by an air contingent purchased from Tekkian Private Firms. This pattern of straight line incursion continued over the rest of the conflict.
As losses mounted on the hired corporation new craft types were fielded.
