History
AFA was formed in 2147 by inventor and entrepreneur Slovodan Kengkiv. Kengkiv, then 50, was a staunch adherent to his ideal and motto that "Even in older age, dreams are always possible. Therefore, I seek the sky!". Kengkiv sought to produce his very own aircraft that he could market regionally, perhaps even globally. His home-built Light Sport Aircraft, the Kengkiv KLSA-Kercoupe, was moderately successful, selling 34 units every week, eventually up to 5,000 within the first three years of the company's existance, helping Kengkiv launch AFA as a company.
