Selenya is an exoplanet 43 light years from the Kerbol system, and the destination of the Spearkan interstellar fleet known as Odyssey. It was discovered on 28 June 2070 by the Spearkan Minmus Observatory and swiftly identified as a potentially habitable kerbin-like planet. It became the focus of Gus Leban's Redemption Project which aimed to migrate the entire Spearkan populace to another star system to escape the ravages of war on Kerbin.

On 16 February 2083, Odyessy departed the Kerbol system and began it's 86 year journey to Selenya. Travelling at 0.5c, the fleet had a projected arrival date of 2169. Astronomers on Kerbin will know if the Redemption Project was a success after the year 2212.
