Tenrai Advanced Aeronautics (TAAE) is a Zalkentian company specializing in advanced aircraft design and manufacturing, particularly within the field of stealth technologies. The company was formed after a split from the far more conservative Lesk Aircraft Corporation in 2176 after a feud over the future of Zalkentian aircraft design. The design teams that broke away from LAC were certain that the future of air combat would be centered around stealth aircraft, as opposed to the approach that LAC took, which was that conventional fighter designs would win the wars of tomorrow.
