The V-11 Talos is a heavy-duty combat mech designed and manufactured in Vocavium. Unlike it's smaller predecessors the V-16 and the V-18, the Talos does not act as a mechanical exo-suit for the occupant, but rather operates as a bipedal vehicle used for combat, navigation of hazardous environments and construction work. The mechs size and large mass hinders its mobility, though it is designed as an infantry support unit and therefore is not intended to exceed the pace of foot soldiers. However, it is still capable of speeds for greater than may be achieved by foot, and is instrumental in evacuating troops from the battlefield, or spear-heading an attack.

In combat, the Talos is outfitted in a variety of configurations. The standard model features no weapons of its own, but instead utilises a hand-carried GAU-8 auto-cannon used for attacking armour and soft targets. This also allows the mech user to drop the weapon and use the mech's fists for devastating destructive potential in close quarters combat.

Other variants typically feature a turret fixed to the 'head' of the mech, either in a 30mm anti-air configuration, or a 90mm anti-armour configuration.

An anti-air configured Talos carries a wounded Kerbal to safety.
A Talos sprints into action whilst carrying a portable GAU-8.
