Dorislav, officially the Dorislav People's Republic, is a nation in northeastern Doren. It is bordered by Opia to the west, the Holy Xynnian Order to the north, Zimor to the northeast, and the UIF to the south. Originally founded in 2086 as the First Dorislavian Republic[1], it lasted from 2086 to 2089, when it, Nisoridav and Belasirov merged to form Belanirislav. Its second and third years of existence were marked by widespread violence and a brutal civil war between government forces and the Fasco–Dorislav Rebellion. In 2152, it was reestablished following a conflict that lasted from 2150 to 2152 and ended with the dissolution of Belanirislav.

1950-1985

Modern-day Dorislav's land was ruled by an unnamed predecessor from 1950 to 1985. This predecessor later collapsed due to the Great Decline. Not much is known about what happened after 1985 and before 2075 apart from the establishment of several city states and the fact that it was mostly terra nullius.

2080s - Turbulent beginnings

To distinguish it from modern-day Dorislav, the term "First Dorislavian Republic" is used here.

Dorislav was founded in 2086 by Antonov Lobachevsky-Kerman. When Dorislav was founded, its territory only encompassed the northern half of its modern-day territory, the southern half belonged to Nisoridav back then.In 2087, due to a fascist upbringing driven by resentment towards the government and the belief the elections had been rigged against them after the Fasco-Dorislav Pact only managed to secure a single seat in Parliament, it became involved in a series of civil wars lasting from 2087 to 2088.
