Kafrican Customary Units form a system of measurement units commonly used in the United States of Central Kafrica. Across the world they have been known to be some of the strangest and most confusing way of measuring things on Kerbin.[1]

Weight

Weight in Central Kafrica is defined in cheeseburgers, the mass of a cheeseburger is 0.000119[2] tonnes per cheeseburger

Length

Units of length is defined as Bald Eagles Per football field, it is legally defined as 91.44 meters over 107. The conversion factor between meters and Bald Eagles Per Football Field (BEPS) is therefore 0.8545794392523364 bald eagles per football field per meter[3]

Speed

Speed in Central Kafrica is defined in units of Mobility Scooters, assuming the scooter has a top speed of 8mph, the conversion factor to meters per second is therefore 0.44704 Mobility scooters per meter per second[4]

Notes

  1. More logical systems are in widespread use for the mercy of Kerbalkind.
  2. A McDonalds Cheeseburger in real life, is about 119 grams, see: https://www.mcdonalds.com/ca/en-ca/product/cheeseburger.html
  3. An American football field is 91.44 meters long, we can fit 107 bald eagles in that length, this assumes a bald eagle has a wingspan of 86.5cm
  4. Mobility scooters have a varied top speed between 4 and 8mph, this is based on a Class 2 scooter
