The BTR-47 (full name Personnel Carrier, Wheeled, BTR-47) is a Dorislavian open-top wheeled armored personnel carrier. Originally an airborne APC of Belanirislavian origin whose development was halted due to its schematics falling into Dorislavian hands when they seized Boryet, development resumed after the war to arm the newly-reestablished Dorislavian Ground Forces with a basic troop transport vehicle. It entered service in 2154, and remains in service with the Dorislavian Ground Forces as of 2200. However, due to its age and vulnerability to incendiary and explosive weapon attacks from above, it is scheduled to be retired by 2215.
