The Bastian Republican Guard (Garda Republicana Bastiano) is the main land based military organization of Bastia.
History
Civil war origins (2144-2146)
The early parts of the Sahren Civil War saw the republican aligned Bastia relying on local militia garrisons and partisans to accomplish strategic objectives. Following the costly Battle of Minilet, a Bastian Republican Guard was established based on the Sahren Republican Guard in order to concentrate the best trained soldiers and equipment into a professional organization.
