General Gordon Simon Kerman was a Zokesian General, Politician, and President-Chancellor of Zokesia. He is known for an extensive military career and commanded Zokesian forces with distinction in the Batle for Hill 122.

Military Career

Gordon Simon Kirman comissioned as a Lieutennant in the Zokesian Army in 2060, where he led a garrison defending Zokesian Anti-Air sites in Puge-Tatar. His next few years were spent rapidly promoting, displaying high levels of charisma and political influence, no doubt in part due to his family's high standing in the nation.

Command of the 12th Sky Warriors was led by Lt. Col. Gordon Simon Kirman which was responsible for the defense of Hill 122. The battle significantly helped secure the Eastern flank of the NMC's army. With the dropping behind heavily fortified troops onto Hill 122, the Zokesians denied a powerful ambush position to the Horde and despite being grossly outnumbered were able to knock out twice as many enemies as they had units. Fighting odds in excess of 4 to 1 they took one fifth the losses of the enemy, and for the 12th and 13th Airborne, a legendary battle was added to the annals of their history.

In 2066, as a Lieutenant Colonel, he led the Zokesian spearhead into the Red Horde, his small and vastly outnumbered force fighting off many more Horde vehicles. In 2070, he went to Cloweish to help lead the military there and develop the defense force of the small nation.

In 2081, he was appointed the Field Marshall of the Eastern Forces by Grail personally, to recapture Phosphor and destroy the Doren Horde.

Political Career

Following the Doren War's success, Grail took Gordon Kerman as his running mate in the 2082 emergency elections, to force the conservatives and foreign advisers from Federation States to vote for the Stahlpact and Grail himself.

Following the assasination of Grail in 2091, Gordon Simon Kerman assumed control of the Federation as President-Chancellor. He led the nation untill 2095, when Ella II rose to power in the Glorious Restoration of the Zokesian throne. In 2100, when Francisco Grail returned from the dead to take the presidency, Gordon Simon Kirman was once again made Chancellor of Zokesia. Gordon S. Kirman was awarded the title of Duke of Cortuga by Ella II and remained the top military official in the Zokesian Armed Forces.

Supreme Commander Gordon Simon Kirman assumed presidency in 2110 after Grail's retirement. The laws passed in the Mid- 2110s were re-written to only allow military personnel to run for office. A new Zokesian Federal Council was created to advise the Supreme Commander, putting the best Zokesian military minds in power in exchange for estates and wealth. Made up of 6 Generals from Zokesia, Arcovy, Malafranz, Valenia, Puge-Tatar and Bravis, the council had been de-facto running the nation, with the Zokesian Parliament now little more than a ceremonial body.

Five Year's War and Retirement

The war between Krome and Zokesia that started in 2110 dragged on for five years. The minor battles at sea prevented either side from establishing any reasonable advantage, and with Zokesia advancing space operations focusing on expansion on Duna, Krome was not seen as a threat. While Zokesians enjoy the highest standard of living their political freedoms are distinctly lacking, and the new Neo-Stahlism ideology of "the people do not need to have opinions on geopolitics" led to the complete control of the Council in political matters. Elections continued to be held, but only military personnel can vote and citizenship is only given to those who enlist.

Forced to sue for peace, both sides agreed to return to status quo in the Treaty of Bravis, signed 17th July 2115. Gordon S. retired from political life after the Scientific Exploratory Research Group's election and went on to write several books on military strategy, including a dire warning to the new SERG government that "Zokesia without a navy is like a Lion without its teeth". He would lobby continuously until his death in 2126 for increased naval production and a rebuilding of the battleship line for future conflict, a stance which would become relevant just a decade later in the Gallante war and Reclamation.
