The Kydælar-Patsaligi society, colloquially known as Kydæ society, is an occultist organization primarily based in Sahrland but also suspected of having smaller groups in Tekkia, Grestin, and Iroa. The society is largely unknown with an estimated membership of 10,000-20,000. The organization has had a significant political influence, most notably supposed connections with the Sahren Arduchasparti. The party derives it's doctrine from the Ascensionist Edict written by Frei-ako tengin. It is unknown if there is a connection between Frei-ako tengin and Mr. Tengin, as Tengin is a common last name in Sahr. Popular opinion of politicians points away from this due to Frei-ako tengin being a diagnosed schizophrenic.
Origins
The Kydæ society was founded on the 13th of Gardo, 2197 as a response to political unrest in Bastia and the imminent dissolution of Sahrland-Bastia. Within that same year the Clannad realta (star family), Almujtamae alkawniu (Cosmos society), and the Eagras aardaitheach (Ascending organization) were formed, which would later become subservient to the Kydæ society.
Subservient Organizations
As far as is known, organizations subservient to the Kydæ society exist in Grestin, Tekkia, and Iroa, but many suspect there are more. These have signiicantly less membership, only totalling to a suspected 18,000 combined.
In popular culture
The Kydæ society has been a part of many conspiracy theories. Interest of their goals and true strength have been pursued by the media with few results. Mr. Tengin does not make public appearances with this alias, usually delivering messages with a representative with a very strict limit on how much they're allowed to talk about.
