The training was experimental due to the programmed reality being able to give its users the sensation of pain. Slowly the difficulty and pain sensitivity of the program rose as the soldiers continued training. The training and command of the Battalion was handed to Lt. Orathan Rekki. As war broke out between Halgonia and the Coalition, the so called 'Shadow Battalion' had completed training with only 9 members being dismissed. Then the remaining members underwent the Ascension Surgery and various other operations to install advanced surge protected cybernetics.
