As with all Prorok enforcement weapons, the Dojminator can identify its users and provide him with an informational HuD displaying potential targets and their threat levels. Using the Dojminator requires a wireless link with the Prorok System and a certified user, without which it will not scan its surroundings or release the gun's safety.

The assembly above the gun is in fact not an optical sight, but a scanning and projection device used by Prorok to determine a criminal's threat level and choose the gun's firing mode. While one end acts as a wave scanner and a camera, detailing whatever the user is pointing at, the other projects a hologram onto an eye implant giving information such as surroundings layout and area stress level. The optical implants are also able to act as lenses to simulate an optical scope's zoom and focus on faraway targets.

The M-70 uses liquid hydrogen capsules to extract electrons, neutrons and protons, which are used for firing against targets. The projectiles are stored in a stable atomic form before firing to reduce containment risks associated with containing charged particles.

The weapon accelerates a stream of electrons to relativistic speeds, creating something like a controlled lightning bolt. On contact with a target, the bolt causes a large enough shock to paralyze it and sometimes induce cardiac arrest or internal and external burns. However, these latter consequences are rare.
