In the late 1960s, the members of ''Bitlz'' were arrested by the ARG on charges of anti-Stilholvist behaviour for implications that the 1966 track "''Crimson Submarine"'' contained anti-war messaging and brought attention to the sinking Arkadii economy. He was sentenced to 30 years in a work and correctional facility, bringing his musical career to an abrupt end.

== Death ==
Lenin remained in poor health following years of imprisonment and died of pneumonia in 1980 while still under government supervision.

== Legacy ==
Following the fall of the Stilholvist regime, Lenin was officially rehabilitated and is widely regarded as both a musical pioneer and a symbol of artistic freedom in Aenia. The [[Leningrad (Village)|settlement]] where Lenin spent the remainder of his days was renamed in 2080 in his honour.
