The Republicans pushed east quickly as the [[Dugthail Puscht]] left the infrastructure of the city intact, reaching the outskirts of [[Khosa]] on the 20th of Nugoazhd. 	In a bid to end the war by the end of the year, Republican high command took the opportunity to move toward Klensagrad. This decision was possibly effected by overconfidence by victorious skirmishes with the Labour party around Khosa. In the hills leading up to Klensagrad an effective defence in depth system was created, and the Republicans slammed into it on the 22nd. The attack was called off as casualties quickly mounted and the Republicans exhausted from the quick advance lost morale. A defensive line was set up on the Klens peninsula and armour was reassigned as this front of the war returned to modern trench warfare.
