After the 2139 Regency junta coup, political unrest in [[Sahr]] caused a period of stagnation and decline for the Adaman steel company. It remained afloat purely on subsidies as it was neccasary to keep the military industrial complex of Sahrland supplies with raw material. During the [[Sahren Civil War]] many of the steel mills and production facilities were seized by varying factions. Adaman steel company remained afloat with it's connections to the Sahren Republicans, who had appointed several members of the house of Adaman to government positions to earn the support of the middle and upper classes.

Adaman steel grew significantly during the war despite their small size, as new facilities were seized and converted into mills and production facilities. Adaman steel also profitted from penal labour during and after the war as prisoners of war and high ranking enemy officers were sentenced to labour en masse
