The '''Panam''' is a heavy utility and transport '''ekranoplan''', or '''wing-in-ground-effect''' (WIGE) aircraft produced by [[Anderophl Fortiska Aeronautical]] at its Ulkam factory in [[Fortis]]. As a WIGE, it is not capable of true flight, but instead makes use of the WIGE effect to keep itself aloft just above the ground or sea.

The Panam itself is meant to fly above water, and is not equipped with landing gear, technically making it a type of seaplane despite being incapable of true flight.

The Panam was designed by AFA as a proposed alternative to the Fortis 2182 Naval Review's High-Speed Cargo Craft program. The program originally called for a conventional cargo-ship, and although the Panam did not meet entry requirements to the program, the Naval Review Committee took great interest in the design, leading to the purchase of a single craft.

The Panam has been nicknamed the "Baskay Sea Monster" by those who see it ferrying craft and supplies between West Hook Island and the Veiidic mainland due to its strikingly odd appearance.
