The first '''Wakir Girls' Club''' was founded in 1936 in [[Pihiro]] by '''Vaiana Tanaka''' (1896-1945), star Feguan dancer and escort, and daughter of [[Henari'i Tanaka]], founder of the [[Tanaka Corporation]]. It quickly rose in popularity thanks to Vaiana's international aura, gathering the Feguan Jet Set in the golden years of resort tourism in Pihiro. After the public assassination of Vaiana by a mafia hired by her own father in 1945, the club remained closed until a [[RedSediment Holdings LLC|private hedge fund]] acquired it from the Tanaka family in 1947 with the intention of opening a new front in Fegua.

Located on the coast of Aorangi Beach, in what was already Fegua's own growing luxury seaside resort, the current '''Wakir Girls' Club''' opened in 1951 and remained in operation ever since. The location in Pihiro closed in 2071, victim of the [[Fegeland#Notable Events|2071 collapse of Fegeland]]. It was reopened in 2077 by '''Yuki Tanaka'''.

The assassination of Vaiana Tanaka in 1945 profoundly shocked public opinion both in Feguanesia and worldwide. The multi-faceted star was famous on Kerbin's greatest stages, and her death resulted in a vast media frenzy at the times, with newspapers of varying credibility rivalling with the most creative theories. Pressure from Tahura Dynasty officials quickly revealed the role of the ''Fuku'uto'' Mafia in the assassination, as well as the implication of [[Henari'i Tanaka]], Vaiana's father. Henari'i, irritated by the growing fame of his daughter, fearing that her success would jeopardize the reputation of the Tanaka Corporation, fomented her assassination. Prosecuted by the Imperial Court of Fegua, he was notoriously acquitted of most charges, in a trial that brought vehement public contestation<ref>He is believed to have benefited from ties within the Feguan judiciary system, and to have corrupted numerous officials before and after the 1945 assassination affair.</ref>.

Violent riots conducted by nightlife workers in Fegeland protesting against the insecurity of their sector culminated on the 17th of Jvne 1945 with clashes against police and military forces in Fegua. Two more girls would perish before the Council of Sages adopted reforms to protect workers and prosecute criminals. These outbreaks led to the creation of a self-proclaimed sorority syndicate, the '''Sisters of the Lei'''. Despite their name, the Sisters of the Lei also included male members, although almost exclusively ''fa'afahines''<ref>Femboys. It's literally Feguan femboys. You love to read it :3</ref>.
